Plans & billing
The Plan page shows which plan you are on today and what each plan unlocks. Reach it from your avatar menu (bottom of the sidebar, or top-right on mobile) → Plan.
Your plan
The card at the top shows your current plan and price. Your plan is set by your subscription — there is no self-select. You move between plans by upgrading (or, later, managing your subscription), not by flipping a setting.
The three plans

Annual billing is cheaper than paying month to month — the plan card shows the yearly saving.
Upgrading
Tap Upgrade on a plan to open checkout. Checkout is handled by our payment provider, Polar, on a secure hosted page — you never enter card details inside the app. New subscriptions start with a 14-day trial, and your plan unlocks as soon as the payment is confirmed. You can pay monthly or annually; switch the toggle on the plan card before you check out.
Managing your billing
Once you are on a paid plan, go to Preferences → Billing and tap Manage billing to open your secure customer portal. From there you can update your card, switch plans, or cancel. If you cancel, you keep your paid features until the end of the period you have already paid for, then drop back to Free — nothing in your garden is deleted.
Founding and comped members keep their plan regardless of billing; the Manage billing controls do not change a comped account.
Preview as
App operators and closed-beta testers see a Preview as control on the Plan page. It lets you view the app as Free, Advanced, or Expert so you can feel how the gates behave. It is a preview only — it does not change your real plan, it clears itself, and a “Clear preview” button drops it immediately. Reload other pages to see surfaces lock and unlock. During the beta this is how founding members try each tier (see the Beta program page); after launch it never appears for regular accounts.
